- Beep to alert you,
- Print a cash slip for walk-in customers (e.g., in a restaurant)
- Record to disk for later processing in your accounting system
- Show Caller ID - on an incoming call, a little window pops up and tells you who is calling and who he wants to talk to.
- If available, MicroBX will do a reverse search on the Internet for the caller's name. (not all PABX support this feature)
Once 'Show Caller ID' on incoming calls is activated, an incoming call will look like this:
You can open a memo for this number, and MicroBX will attempt to find the caller's name - from its own records, or from the Internet. |
|
Reports
MicroBX allows you to define selection criteria for telephone calls, and then to either display or print them. The criteria are extremely versatile and powerful.
Whenever you do not know what to do next, small 'help bubbles' will give you some context-sensitive hints. And, of course, there is context-sensitive Help available with the F1 key. |
|
Sorting data
You can sort bar charts of calls by:
- Duration
- Cost
- Phone number or extension.
And - of course - you can sort to find the longest or the most expensive calls . |
|
Statistics
The average response time of the Operator:
After you have seen the average response time, you can then check 'when during the day' incoming calls with a long ring time happened. |
|

This shows the average line occupancy during the day.
The vertical axis shows the number of calls. You may select calls by all possible criteria, for example incoming only, outgoing only, incoming calls ringing longer than 15 sec., etc. etc. |
|
